Ahmed Salah FCCA, FCA is the Managing Partner of QVL, bringing over 16 years of professional experience across audit, assurance, taxation, and business advisory. He is a seasoned Chartered Certified Accountant and a Fellow Member of both the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), UK, and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of the Maldives. Salah also holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Kerala, India.
Salah has built a strong reputation for guiding organisations through complex regulatory and financial environments with precision and disciplined financial governance. His career spans influential leadership roles across the public and private sectors, giving him a comprehensive understanding of both domestic regulatory frameworks and international standards.
Before founding QVL, Salah served as Director of Operations at Mile & Associates, where he oversaw a diverse portfolio of audit, tax, and accounting engagements. Prior to this, he spent over five years at the Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) in senior leadership roles, including Head of the Individual Business Audit Section and Head of the Micro Individual Audit Section. He began his career at the Ministry of Finance, managing the Government of Maldives’ foreign debt portfolio.
Salah also plays a significant role in the development of the accounting profession in the Maldives. He serves on the Valuation Committee of CA Maldives, and has previously served on its Management & Finance Committee. He was also a member of the Minimum Wage Advisory Board and formerly held the position of Registrar for the ACCA Members Association of the Maldives.
